Activities to include:

U-value analysis

To perform simulations using “Therm” analysis software
BFRC energy ratings and related services
Consultancy advice for customers
To develop and maintain customer relations
Quotations and invoicing

Auditing (progression of job role once conversant with U-value analysis)

Undertake surveillance audits in line with Build Check Windows and Doors Certification Scheme

To assist with onsite testing

Air tightness testing

Carry out tests in accordance with ATTMA TS1, UKAS and Build Check procedures
Produce test reports/certificates
Quotations and invoicing

Acoustic testing

Carry out tests in accordance with Part E, UKAS and Build Check procedures
Produce test reports/certificates
Quotations and invoicing

Computer literacy essential. Knowledge of CAD and the construction industry desirable.

Full training provided.

Congratulations to Clive Cox who has become a BFRC Approved Simulator (No 047) for modelling the thermal performance of windows to achieve Window Energy Ratings. This will enable Build Check to continue to meet the ever increasing demand with swift report turnaround times.
